Wow, it's been awhile!

Well, a lot has been going on since the last post. Jamie has moved back to Illinois, and is working at a dermatologist office in Hoffman Estates, while Jake is still in Michigan, we're working on getting him to Illinois now. It is nice to be back in Illinois, missed my family and friends!! It's rough not being together but we are doing it!

So, much has happened since my last post, I don't even know where to start!

Thanksgiving came and went, ate amazing food as always! it was nice to see Auntie Theresa, Russell, and Renee.( I got yelled at by Auntie and Russell to update my blog, so this is for you guys).


In other news: Jake and I have made our first decisions for the wedding!!! We have decided on a destination wedding!!! We are getting married September 2011, in Hawaii!!!!

I will try and update more often, when something exciting happens or a wedding plan has been made!!

We're Engaged!

So..it's official. Jake and I are engaged!!! We had a amazing day!! We went to Mackinac Island today with a couple of our friends and Jake popped the question! He proposed after a long hike up and down hills at a beautiful spot called Arch Rock. He got down on one knee and asked! I was speechless!! But of course I said yes!! No, plans on setting a date yet but as soon as we know, you will know!! Here is a video we put together! Hope you enjoy!!!

Well, the last few weekends we have been on Jeep rides to Traverse City and on the trails for my first off roading trip!!! This weekend we headed up to the UP and we helped out at the Grand Opening for Jake's parents store, lots and lots of people!! Caleb and I worked the register and Jake made hot dogs for all the customers!! We even got to Jam out to the country radio station 102.9 Big Country! It was a fun filled day but exhausting!! Sunday we spent the day riding on the ATVs and just hanging out! Enjoy the pictures =)

This past weekend

Well, This past weekend was Jake's 24th birthday and his cousins wedding both on the same day! Aios dios mios!! We didn't get to do anything special for his birthday on the 16th but I made him a cake with homemade peanut butter frosting (his favorite!). Here are pictures from the festivities!!

What have we been up to?

First of if you forgot what we looked like:
Well, first weekend of May we headed down to Illinois for a Mom Cobos's birthday and Jeff and Lynzi's Wedding Shower! We were very happy to finally get to go back down. We miss everyone in Illinois!

Mothers Day we went to Jake's Grandparents house where we had a bbq, Jamie picked asparagus with Caleb and Aunt Libby! Then Jake, Caleb, their Aunt and Uncle, a couple young cousins and Jamie all went on a hike on the property! We went looking for mushrooms to pick!!!

It was a very fun day and Jamie experianced a couple new things!! I wish we had pictures of how fun it was!!

Later that day Jamie did a photo shoot of the family that was at home in Mom Wagner, Dad Wagner, Caleb and Jake even little Abby =0)

We have been busy doing yard work, watching Jake's nieces and just playing wii with Caleb! Job hunting is coming and going, no nibbles yet but hopefully soon!!

Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you and hope you have a great day!! We can not wait to come down for the weekend and celebrate with you =)

I did it!!

Well, I have passed my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) class!! I passed my final with a 99%, my instructor told me it was the highest in the class, as well as the highest for that class ever!! Jake and I are so very excited!! now it is time to start looking for a job!! It was a rough 3 weeks, but I learned a lot. So, what is left for me to do now is...find a job and take my state license test!

Well, Jake and I are headed to Chicago this weekend for mom cobos's birthday and Jeff and Lynzi's wedding shower. We are looking forward to this trip!!

Exciting News!!

I am happy to say that I have been accepted to a 3 week CNA training class!! I start the 13th of this month!!! I am very very excited!!! This program is free as well, so there is a bonus... The training will take place at Gladwin Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. If I do well in the class I will most likely be hired and they will also pay for my state testing!!! How exciting!! AHHH I can't wait!!

Thursday Morning after a long night of waiting patiently we received the call that Addysen has arrived!

Jake and I haven't really been up to much but I thought I would blog anyway!!

Last weekend was our busy weekend!!

Saturday the 31st was Jake's sister Jenny's Baby Shower! It started in the morning, all the syblings headed over to Jenny's mom's (Diane) house, to watch a dvd of pictures and music that announced to Jenny and Pauly that it was a girl!! They are very excited to find out it was a girl and to get ready to welcome Addysen Jane Lewis to the family.

It was time for the shower, the men headed over to Jenny and Pauly's house for the man shower, where all the men were to bring a bag of diapers and a six pack of beer for pauly.

The ladies headed over to the hall where the shower was held! It was a great time! Over 80 women showed up to celebrate!!

Sunday February 1st was Superbowl Sunday!! Jake and I made homemade chicago style pizza!! Aunt Hope emailed us the recipe awhile back! It was delish!! Jake made an everything pizza and I made a spinach pizza! Then we headed downstairs to watch the game and munched on some snacks and some awesome homemade pizza!

It's Jake's Dad's Birthday today, he is enjoying is birthday on a Cruise! He will be coming home with Pam on Sunday to some freezing cold weather!! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG!! Hope you are enjoying, the warmer weather!!

Well I celebrated my 22nd Birthday on this past weekend. I had a couple very nice surprises!! First surprise was on Friday afternoon when I received a package of roses from proflowers.com! From Felicia and Brad!! They were beautiful! Yellow, peach, pink roses!! They are all opening up very nicely!! My second surprise came after I got home from watching the girls. I walk in the door and everything is normal. Then, there is a knock on the door...who could it be.....I open it, and there are my parents, Dad's holding the video camera and Mom holding her camera. I was very happy and very surprised!! After all the hugs, my parents, Jake and I headed to dinner. Then hung out and watched some diner's, dive's and drive in's...we all love that show. They headed back to the hotel and called us in the morning, where we took a drive to Mount Pleasant and went to a 50's themed restaurant called the pixie. Then we headed to the movie theater and saw Marley and Me. I thought it was a very good movie, very sad at the end. Jake thought of his past yellow lab Bailey and Mom, Dad, and I thought about JJ. It was very very very sad!! The ride home needless to say was very quite, I think we all were kinda in shock of how sad and how much it affected us.

We got back into Houghton Lake and Mom and Dad headed back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner at Buccili's to celebrate Greg's and My Birthday. It was very nice, Ally, Lexi, and Liya even took some time from Grandma Diane's to come eat dinner with us, which was very nice :0) After dinner, we headed back home where Joe, Greg, Pam, Mom, Dad, Jake and I played Pit (Lola seemed entertained just by watching.),had some cake and ice cream and then it was getting late and everyone headed back home and to the hotel.

Sunday Morning, Greg and Pam headed on their 5 day cruise!! I got beautiful Pink and White Gerber Daises from Jake (My Favorite :0) . Then we met up with mom and dad for a birthday breakfast!! Sadly, they had to head back home before it started snowing again in Chicago. Jake and I then went baby shower gift shopping for Jenny, Paulie and Baby Lewis. Then came home, and hung out, Jake that night then made me dinner. He made some great pork stir fry!! It was delish!!

The rest of the week has been like every other day, mostly just hanging around.

Christmas and New Years have come and gone...what to do now?

Well, December is over and this is what we have been up to:

Christmas Eve, Jake got out of work a little early and we headed down state and stopped at his family's Christmas, we got to visit for a little bit and then headed down to Illinois!! It was a good drive, quick and we stayed awake!!

Christmas Day, we spent the morning opening presents with my parents, brother and his wife and my sister. It was soo nice to see everyone, (I was getting a bit homesick). We had a lot of fun and we couldn't wait to get home because we got a Wii and a Wii Fit!! Soo exciting!! After opening presents, and eating yummy breakfast pizza, Granny came over!! It was really nice to see her, I hadn't seen her since I moved in May! We then headed over to Aunt Candy and Uncle Roger's house for the rest of the day! It was a lot of fun, Andy and Ellen were in from California, Raj was there, we only got to see Jeff and Lynzi for a little bit, then they headed to Lynzi's family's Christmas. We had a great dinner! (even if we couldn't sit at the kid table). We also played PIT, oh my gosh it is one of the most fun games ever!! It was really really nice to be back in Illinois and see my family!

Day after Christmas, Jake and I slept in until about 10 and then headed out shopping. We had a chance to meet up with Kristi, Julie and Kurt at Chilis!! We were very excited to see all 3 of them!! After lunch we all headed to the mall for some more shopping, after shopping we met up with Ashley and my Mom and went to Home Run Inn for some pizza and a drink. Home Run Inn is where Ashley, Jake and I go to eat, all the time!! Then we all headed back home and Ashley had to leave because of some crazy fog!!

Saturday after Christmas,Mom, Dad, Jennifer, Jake and I headed out to Bollingbrook stopped at Maurice's and Kohl's and then swung over to visit Grandpa Ray!! It was a short visit, so next time we are in town we plan on spending a whole day together! After the visit we decided to grab some lunch at a buffet and headed home were Kay and baby Knutson stopped by and hung out for a bit!! We played Family Game Night on Wii. Which I think is a lot of fun!! Kay only could stay for a little while, so after Kay left we headed back over to Aunt Candy and Uncle Roger's just for a bit. Then parted ways, where Jennifer, Jake and I headed over to O'neils Pub (Kristi's work), had a few drinks, then headed to Chili's again were we had dinner and some drinks with some old friends of mine. (Jen, Abby, Chris, Justin, Johnny and Dee) I hadn't seen them in almost 2 years!! So we had some catching up to do. Sadly, the night ended and everyone headed home.

Sunday after Christmas, Mom, Dad, Jennifer, Jake, Ashley and I went to our favorite breakfast restaurant! RED APPLE! Oh man, Jake and I miss that place!! We had a great breakfast! Then Jennifer, Jake, Ashley and I headed over to Home Depot and Target!! Jake had a gift card to Home Depot, and as for Target...it is my guilty pleasure...haha...I can walk into that store and just walk around for hours...and of course buying things I don't really need...haha...Sadly, our trip had to end we packed up our Jeep, with all our gifts and things we bought that weekend, Doser, and Lou Malinati Frozen Pizza! Yum! Our short weekend had ended and we said our good byes and head back to Houghton Lake, it was a long long drive. About an hour away from Houghton Lake, we stopped in Mount Pleasant, MI to eat at a restaurant called the Pixie. Which is a 50's dinner. I had a wrap and Jake had some Conney Dogs. But it was Delish!! After that we headed back on the road and then spent a while unloading the Jeep!

It really seemed like too short of a trip sadly, but we were happy to see everyone we could!!

This week, we really did not do to much, I watched the girls while they were still on winter break and Jake worked hard at the Dealership and said good-bye to the house in Boon, MI (we dropped of our keys)

New Years Eve: Jake's Parents headed up to the UP and we were lucky we got to spend some time with Jake's brother Caleb and their family friends Jenny and Justin. We had a bunch of junk food and played Wii all night! Midnight came around and we made our calls saying happy new year and I tried to stay up until 1am our time so I could say Happy New Year again to everyone in Illinois! I barely made it!! Shortly after the phone calls I crashed! I was exhausted!!

New Years Day: Caleb had to leave for work but we spent the day watching movies with Jenny and Justin!

Friday: Jake had to work and I watched the girls. Then later that night Jake and I went to dinner and then rented some movies and Wii games! We watched both movies and headed to bed.

Saturday: (Today) Jake and I ran some errands, then played Wii all day!! I am actually getting pretty good at Guitar Hero now!!!

Tomorrow: we plan on doing the same exact thing all day!! Just hanging out!!
