We are still alive!!!

Well this is what we have been up to the last couple weeks:

11/6:

Jake and I watched the corn in our backyard get cut down

11/7-11/10:

Jake and I dog sat for Jake's parents puppy Abby



11/11:

We celebrated Jake's neice Taylor's 6th Birthday!!

11/12:

Jake started his new job!!!

11/14-11/16:

Jake Puppy sat again while Jake's Dad went hunting and I had a girls weekend with Jake's mom and her friends to Boyne Mountian. We stayed in a condo all weekend and went shopping. At Boyne Mountian they have a hot tub the size of a pool! It was amazing!! I so want to go back there again!! I had a great time that weekend!!

11/16-11/22:

Just watching all the snow...as much as I dislike winter...the snow sure is pretty out here...(I havent't taken any pictures of it yet, sorry)

Sorry it took so long to update...I hope this caught you all up on how we are doing. For everyone back in Illinois, we miss you and thanks for checking up on us!!

It's already November?

Well, we apparently had the last of my family up this weekend for the season =(. My parents. Aunt Candy and Uncle Roger all came up for a weekend visit!! They came up Friday (Halloween!) and we went to Timbers for dinner, which is a very good restaurant with GINORMOUS burgers! After dinner we headed back to the house where Aunt Candy and Uncle Roger got to see our house for the first time! Sadly, we didn't have any trick or treater's but we had a great relaxing time just visiting.

Saturday we all packed in to my Jeep with my dad laying down in the back. ha ha! We headed towards Traverse City but stopped at a restaurant called Patty Cakes for some breakfast. After that we headed back on the road and drove past the bay and then walked around downtown Traverse City. After all the walking we decided to get some steaks for dinner they were AMAZING! with some triple cherry pie and apple cake for dessert. YUM! After dessert we learned a new game from Aunt Candy called Left, Right, Center! We played a bunch of times, and I now love that game! Then we watched a cute movie called Wall-e. We were all pretty beat after the movie and everyone headed to bed.

This morning, we got up and made some pancakes and bacon and just relaxed until everyone decided to hit the road back to Illinois.
Jake and I were very happy to see everyone and we want to thank all of them for everything! We Love you!!

We are looking forward to the holidays coming up!!
